Metrics, Metrics, Metrics! Our lead topic for this Colloquium will be Staffing as a Supply Chain: What info about staffing do your corporate leaders get? Is there a recruiting team scorecard in force? Is your staffing performance tied to rewards? Participants will need to bring and share SLAs, Scorecards, Performance measures at all levels and be prepared to discuss and examine the impact of rewarding outstanding recruiter/sourcer performance. Additional topics as voted on by members are:
- Recruiter Dashboard: ATS's can be great tools and if your recruiters can see their results all the better. Each participant to bring a snapshot of their dashboard (what metrics recruiters can see on themselves and or your co.). If you do not have a working ATS, bring your spreadsheets.
- Metrics Master: If you have a metrics recruiting/staffing "guru" bring their job description to share with other members. What makes this person successful?
- Building Pipelines: What tools are you using for contact management, sourcing, social networking, to stay ahead of the curve? What is their ROI?
- 2008 Mystery Job Seeker: CareerXroads will provide the results of their Mystery Job Seeker research. How are job seekers really being treated when they apply to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for?
- American Idol for Recruiting - Award Winning Ideas: If you could pick one program or tactic that your corporation utilizes that sets you apart from the rest, what would that be? Bring the metrics to back up your story as those in attendance will vote for the winner. Prizes to be awarded for most innovative idea and the best measured program.
As is our practice at CareerXroads Colloquium events we ask all attendees to bring "what keeps them up at night" in their recruiting organizations so we can help each other solve those issues. After all, it's the caliber of our group that makes each session unique and provides that Aha! moment you'll take back to your office.

May 5 – Monday
- 6:00 PM Meet in the hotel lobby for short walk to dinner at the Duke of Edinburgh Pub. Don't miss this chance to renew acquaintances and make new ones before the Colloquium starts!
May 6 – Tuesday
- 7:45AM Meet in hotel lobby for transportation to the Agilent campus at 5301 Stevens Creek Blvd in Santa Clara. We're meeting in Building 5L, in the Aristotle Conference Room which is right off the main lobby. Any problems that day, call Mark: 908-812-8890
- 8:00 AM Breakfast and Introductions.
- 8:30-4:30 Meeting Session. After lunch we'll be taking a tour of Agilent's facilities for an interesting break.
- 6:00PM Meet in hotel lobby for shuttle to dinner at Lion & Compass.
May 7 - Wednesday
- 7:45AM Meet in hotel lobby for transportation to Agilent meeting location.
- 8:00-2:30 PM Meeting session, continental breakfast will be served. Some of our most thought-provoking, insightful discussions happen towards the end of the meeting session. In an effort to have full participation it is important that everyone stay until the meeting adjourns. Thank you.
