Discussion Topics

Our early fall session will focus on one of our most popular topics: metrics. Specific discussion topics as voted on by members:

• A Rose is not always a Rose: What would each of staffing's stakeholders really want you to "measure"?
• Recipes for Success: Process maps? SLAs? Who has them? How do you use them?
• Silver Bullets: Can we ever build a candidate engagement metric that correlates with performance?
• Pit and the Pendulum: Recruiter Performance Scorecards - How are rewards connected to them?
• Metric Tools, Apps and Magic Tricks: Show and tell - what are the resources that make measurement practical or just easier to develop?

As is our practice at CareerXroads Colloquium events we also ask all attendees to bring “what keeps them up at night” in their recruiting organizations so we can help each other solve those issues. After all, it's the caliber of our group that makes each session unique and provides that Aha! moment you'll take back to your office.

Dress for Colloquium sessions is business casual.

September 14 – Monday 

• 6:00 PM Meet in the hotel lobby to walk to dinner at Public House (2 Logan Square). This is a great opportunity to catch up with fellow members before the meeting starts. Even if you arrive later in the day, please come meet us at the restaurant.

September 15 – Tuesday

• 7:45AM Meet in hotel lobby to walk to Comcast.
• 8:00 AM Breakfast and Introductions.
• 8:30-4:30 Meeting Session.
• 6:00PM Meet in hotel lobby for walk to dinner at Davio's (111 S. 17th Street).

September 16 - Wednesday 

• 7:45AM Meet in hotel lobby to walk to Comcast.
• 8:00-2:30 PM Meeting session, continental breakfast will be served. Some of our most thought-provoking, insightful discussions happen towards the end of the meeting session. In an effort to have full participation it is important that everyone stay until the meeting adjourns. Thank you.

For those of you already registered, please do your best to notify us 10 days in advance of the event if you find yourself unable to attend. And remember, the quality of the meeting is directly related to the number of members active in our discussions - we appreciate you finding a replacement from your firm if you are unable to attend.

Transportation

The light rail system, SEPTA, offers a train from each airport terminal into downtown Philly every 15-20 minutes. Cost is approx $6 one way. Take the R1 Airport train to the Suburban Station stop which is approx 2 blocks from the Embassy Suites.
The Lady Liberty Airport Shuttle also offers service from the airport directly to all downtown hotels. Cost is $10 one way.
