In 1994, Mark Mehler & Gerry Crispin - long time experts in recruiting and HR management - recognized the potential of the Internet in the world of recruiting and created CareerXroads®. Over the years, CareerXroads has evolved from a reference guide and small recruiting practice to become an internationally recognized expert resource on recruiting technology solutions.
The CareerXroads Colloquium - a group that brings together recruiting professionals who share a passion for critical analysis and sharing what really works (and what really doesn't) in recruiting - has become the center of CareerXroads. From that core, Gerry Crispin and his partner Chris Hoyt travel the world working with corporations to better understand and adopt cutting-edge, recruiting technology solutions for their staffing strategy and process.
Gerry Crispin, is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and thought leader whose views on technology and HR - especially on staffing strategy and hiring processes - are ardently sought by many of the world's most competitive corporations. Gerry is passionate about how firms design and build staffing processes, the technology to enhance them and the systems to manage them. He is also committed to writing, researching and sharing his adventures, opinions and observations about evolving staffing models with the HR profession, clients and friends.
A 20 year veteran of the recruiting wars and, a real veteran to boot, Hoyt is a sought-after speaker with presentations including national conferences with SHRM, LinkedIn, HR Technology and others in the USA as well as iRecruit, Australasian Talent Conference and more abroad. Chris, a self-proclaimed social 'x' addict, has been promoting and leading full scale and enterprise-wide integration of social media and mobile marketing within a workforce strategy for his entire career. Interactive/social recruiting, candidate experience, national and international recruiting strategies are all areas of expertise that Chris brings to CareerXroads. He has a passion for breaking out of traditional recruitment practices and loves pushing the envelope with clients and Colloquium members.
